Social Pedagogical Family Companion (on an hourly basis)

Aufberg AG offers a unique chain of services in the care and support of toddlers, children, adolescents, women and families in Northwestern Switzerland. We have a modern infrastructure and a total of 250 residential and care places at various locations in the cantons of Basel-Landschaft and Basel-Stadt. The focus of our pedagogical work lies on creating optimal transitions between the individual services and maximum relationship continuity. Need-orientation and flexibilization set the direction for the development of our service offering. This offering is continuously reviewed, further differentiated and, if necessary, expanded. Wherever possible, we respond individually to the needs of our clients. As a certified organization, we work according to the Bündner Standard for the prevention and processing of boundary-violating behavior. Family companionship is a long-term, but time-limited support for families who need help in difficult developmental and life situations. We strengthen families in their competencies, provide guidance and assistance in solving family and upbringing issues and strive together with them to stabilize their situation and manage their everyday life as independently as possible again. For this highly sought-after and professional service, we are looking for, effective immediately or by arrangement, a Social Pedagogical Family Companion (on an hourly basis) ## We accompany families in the cantons of Basel-Landschaft and Basel-Stadt. The team's office premises are located in Basel on Austrasse. If you bring a lot of empathy, professionalism and joy in working with the entire family system, we can offer you a future-oriented position in a highly motivated team. Your main task includes the personal accompaniment and support of families, taking into account the needs and the mandate of the authorities. The field of activity further includes: • You work with the family system and support and empower the legal guardians in dealing with the children in everyday life • You are responsible for supervised visits • You ensure child protection and create recommendations for the referring agencies • You work in a resource-oriented, systemic as well as interdisciplinary manner • You document contacts and create reports for the authorities Are you an empathetic and committed personality with a positive basic attitude and also bring the following: • You have a degree as a Social Pedagogue FH/HF (mandatory requirement for employment) and, advantageously, already have experience in family companionship and the associated systemic work • You have already completed further training in the field of family companionship or are willing to attend such • You are characterized by your reliability, initiative and independence • You have experience in dealing with toddlers (0-4 years) and have joy and humor when dealing with them • You are flexible for irregular work assignments and work locations • You have sound computer skills (MS-Office) • Advantageously, you possess a driving license Cat.
