Department for Economy, Social Affairs and Environment Your Tasks Supporting people At the Belforterstrasse residential home, you will accompany adults with cognitive and physical impairments and an increased need for care. Many live with chronic, progressive diseases and exhibit conspicuous behaviors. Leadership tasks (approx. 40%) You will take over the personnel and organizational leadership of a team of approximately 10-15 people. Together with the site management team, you will promote self-organization, strengthen cooperation, and support the further development of your team. Shaping everyday life You will take on tasks such as basic care, housekeeping, and the organization of the spatially integrated daily structure. Additionally, you are responsible for administrative activities, including, for example, the maintenance of the digital client file. Working together As a valuable member of an interdisciplinary team, you are committed to the individual needs of our clients. You specifically promote their abilities, create development goals, and participate in the annual needs assessment. Your Profile Experience You are experienced in dealing with people with disabilities, ideally also with challenging behavior. Shift work and working on weekends and public holidays are part of a responsible professional understanding for you. Personality You encounter the clients with empathy and respect and see yourself as someone who motivates a team and leads at eye level. In demanding care situations or emergencies, you remain calm, act confidently, and convey security. Education You have completed training as a Fachperson Betreuung EFZ or a BA in Social Work FH / Social Pedagogy HF and bring experience in team leadership or are willing to complete a corresponding further education. Language You have a secure command of the German language and communicate clearly, empathically, and in a manner appropriate to the target group.
