The government of the canton of Graubünden is seeking a member of the Bank Council of Graubündner Kantonalbank as of 1 April 2027 Your area of responsibility As a member of the seven-member Bank Council, the supreme body of the GKB, you will be responsible for the strategic management of the bank. You will take on the following tasks in particular: Defining the principles of the business strategy and the framework for business activities Approving the risk policy and monitoring risk management and compliance with regulatory requirements Electing and supervising the management and the head of internal audit and the Chief Risk Officer Responsibility for wage and personnel policy Controlling and approving the annual accounts, budget and profit distribution Other tasks according to federal law and the law on the GKB It is planned that you will be a member of the Audit and Risk Committee of the Bank Council. What we expect from you You have in-depth economic and financial expertise with a focus on banking and corresponding experience. A broad understanding of bank operating relationships along the value chain and in-depth knowledge of central control and risk aspects are expected.
