You will coordinate and lead training offers, develop them further, and accompany projects in the education sector. In doing so, you will support committed volunteers as well as J+S experts in their development and actively contribute to topics such as water safety and drowning prevention. At the SLRG office, we work in a self-organized and collegial manner, with a lot of personal responsibility, co-design, and room for new ideas. You will actively shape the future educational work of SLRG. Project Manager: Education & Youth+Sports (J+S) 80% # Your field of action ### • You will be responsible for the content-related, structural, and conceptual further development of the J+S education and training offers for the sport of lifesaving • You will plan, organize, lead, and evaluate J+S modules and further training offers for J+S leaders and J+S experts • You will ensure the quality of J+S training and consistently implement the training and quality standards of Youth+Sports • You will actively work on the further development of the sport and promote a versatile athletic foundation. • You will integrate cross-sport topics such as ethics, prevention, safety, and integration into education and training • You will lead projects and working groups in the education sector and contribute to the further development of the education system • You will support the Education team in other tasks and in cooperation with partners (e.g., esa, ILSE) What you bring ### • Completed university studies with a pedagogical, sports scientific, or comparable orientation • High affinity for the field of water safety, ideally you have already completed water safety training in open or closed waters and bring expertise in drowning prevention and water rescue, as well as in-depth knowledge of Youth+Sports (J+S); knowledge of esa is an advantage • J+S expert recognition or willingness to acquire it • Experience in planning, organizing, and conducting educational offers • Experience in project management and enjoyment of taking responsibility • Confident appearance, high teaching and communication skills, as well as organizational talent • Networked, solution-oriented, and structured way of working • Teamwork, flexibility, and a service-oriented attitude • Willingness to continuously develop in the areas of education and sports • Responsible action in the sense of J+S values and the ethics charter • Stylistically correct German language skills as well as active knowledge of at least one other official language (French and/or Italian) What to expect ### • A meaningful and socially relevant activity in the largest Swiss organization for safety on, in, and around water • A self-organized and collegial work environment with a lot of creative leeway and high personal responsibility • Modern social benefits as well as diverse opportunities for personal and professional development • A modern work environment with the possibility of home office (except Tuesdays, presence on site) • An annual salary in the upper five-figure range • Five paid training days per year for a 100% position • A strong national anchorage as a member organization of the Swiss Red Cross (SRK) and work according to the Red Cross principles How to apply ### For further information, please contact the current job holder Samantha Geissmann by email at s.geissmann@slrg.ch.
