The Service Head of the Neighborhoods and Social Affairs Sector between 80% and 90% The Youth and Social Cohesion Service is responsible, on one hand, for activities related to children and youth, neighborhoods, extracurricular services, and the youth dental clinic. It also steers policies regarding youth, integration, the housing office, social cohesion, seniors, and the fight against precariousness. In connection with many associations, it brings together approximately 250 female and male employees in very varied professional fields. As part of its strategy to promote social cohesion, the Ville d’Yverdon\-les\-Bains is advertising, for the Service de la jeunesse et cohésion sociale, the position of: Head of the Neighborhoods and Social Affairs Sector between 80% and 90% Your missions and responsibilities: Design, steer, and implement municipal policies regarding community and social action in neighborhoods. Analyze the needs of the population and develop innovative, concrete, and sustainable responses. Ensure the direction of the sector and guarantee the quality of services as well as budget monitoring. Lead, coach, and supervise a multidisciplinary team. Develop, animate, and coordinate relations with external partners. Contribute, as a member of the Management Committee, to the definition of the Service's strategic orientations. Supervise the processes for allocating municipal social assistance. Your profile: University or HES Master's in social sciences, social work, or a title deemed equivalent. Excellent knowledge of Yverdon institutions, as well as Vaud and Swiss legislation regarding social action. Significant professional experience in the field of social cohesion. Solid experience in team management and additional training in the field of management desired. Training and/or experience in project management. Training as a practitioner trainer, an asset. Sense of public service and organization, rigor, and autonomy. Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong ability to establish relationships and cooperate with partners.
