For the area - asylum social assistance counseling for provisionally admitted foreigners and persons with protection status S- (AVAS) - we are looking for a committed clerk in asylum social assistance as of 1 October 2026 or by arrangement. Your tasks ### You support our team in the Aarau office and are occasionally deployed on-site in the municipalities. Your tasks include: • Carrying out the annual asset audit • Clarification of social security law claims • Ensuring data quality for social assistance statistics • Drafting and sending applications and requests • Creation and adaptation of templates and information materials • Data entry, data storage, and data evaluation as well as preparation of entries and dossier closures • Maintaining the occupancy and vacancy lists of the municipalities in cooperation with the social workers and the canton • Supporting the social workers on-site in the municipalities, e.g., during accommodation visits, entries and exits, as well as in the mediation of simple living skills (e.g., waste separation and recycling, use of household appliances and washing machines, emergency numbers) • Participation in the further development of processes as well as standards and control instruments • Taking over general administrative tasks in the area What you bring with you ### • Completed commercial training or other vocational training and several years of professional experience, ideally with further training in the field of social insurance • Enjoyment of administrative work, specialist clarifications and occasional deployments in the municipalities • Good general education, good PC skills (especially Office programs), confident German (other languages are a plus) • Good work organization and independent, structured and efficient way of working • Sociability, teamwork skills, resilience and flexibility • Enjoyment of working with people of different origins, intercultural competence What we offer you ### We are a well-positioned and respected actor in the field of social services, which has grown dynamically in recent years.
