Wohnenbern is a non-profit organization that offers living space and professional residential support to maintain or restore the ability to live independently. The offer is aimed at around 170 adults in the city of Bern who are affected by or threatened by homelessness, regardless of their personal and current life situation or health restrictions. The versatile range of services also includes the inclusive „DOCK8 - Restaurant, Beratung & Kultur“ in the Holliger settlement, an inclusive catering business without the obligation to consume, with employment and jobs and the possibility for social participation. Due to an expansion of services in the low-threshold housing Weissensteinstrasse, we are looking for our property in Stadtteil III, by arrangement, an Employee Facility Management (80%) Employee Facility Management (80%) These are your tasks On-site and together with a domestic staff member, you maintain, clean and care for the semi-public areas of the properties at Weissensteinstrasse 12 and 10 You prepare our rented residential units for our customers according to specifications and on a time-based basis, in cooperation with the facility management team You actively assist with renovation work You support the facility management team as needed You help to manage the warehouse and perform small repair work What you bring with you You bring an apprenticeship as a Fachperson Betriebsunterhalt EFZ or an equivalent basic training and/or experience in the field You possess a driver's license category B (car) Ideally, you have experience and knowledge in the area of cleaning and hygiene standards You have an appreciative manner with people with a substance-related dependency and/or mental burdens You are resilient and emotionally stable You have good German language skills You like to take responsibility and work independently You are a pragmatic personality who likes to work in a team and can set good boundaries You have no inhibitions about cleaning heavy dirt We offer A versatile and independent job as a member of a motivated and committed team of facility managers An open, benevolent, supportive and appreciative team and leadership culture Employment conditions that are oriented towards the personnel guidelines of the city of Bern We are happy to receive your application in electronic form via email (<>).
