Teacher in market gardening culture Your fields of activity with us • Develop the content of our new study orientation "-Special crops with an emphasis on market gardening-" and implement it starting from the autumn semester 2027-2028 • Teach core elements of the orientation as well as certain courses at the master's level • Competently design, organize, and supervise bachelor's and master's theses • Set up and develop your own activities in the field of research and services through the acquisition of third-party funds • Actively build and maintain a solid network within the sector and in research Your background, ideally • University, EPF, or HES degree in plant sciences, doctorate desired • Strong personal initiative, sense of responsibility, team spirit, and willingness to work in an interdisciplinary manner • Several years of professional experience in market gardening production outside of the academic world, established network within the profession, research, and public authorities, and long-standing experience in applied research • Ideally, qualification for higher education teaching and related tasks • German or French native speaker with good knowledge of the other language Some of our assets We conduct research activities related to practice, developing solutions useful to the economy, culture, and society in general, on a regional, Swiss, and international level.
