EHS-Manager / Electrical Safety Officer 80-100% (m/w/d) At a glance We are looking for an EHS Manager (m/w/d) who works closely with different teams to ensure safe and legally compliant working conditions. You will actively support in the operational daily routine, conduct analyses, and bring your expertise into projects and processes. Ideally, you have a basic training in electrical engineering and take on responsibility in the field of electrical safety. Tasks Advising management and employees on EHS-relevant topics Ensuring compliance with legal, internal, and customer requirements Investigating and analyzing events and hazardous situations Conducting risk assessments and evaluations in cooperation with different SKAN teams, participating in machine risk analyses Creating and maintaining safety concepts for construction sites, chemicals, operating materials, PSA inventories, etc. Participating in the selection of PSA materials and work equipment Creating EHS guidelines, operating and work instructions, area safety rules, and EHS reports Organizing and conducting safety training and instruction (toolbox meetings, safety days, conventional training/instructions regarding work with special hazards, e-learnings, etc.) Inducting new/temporary/external employees Monitoring and tracking the training status of employees Coordinating recurring device inspections Conducting checks, EHS rounds, and audits Defining, documenting, monitoring, and implementing EHS-CAPA measures If corresponding electrical basic training is available: setting up and implementing an electrical safety concept in cooperation with the affected departments, conducting electrical specialist discussions, and checking electrical systems and installations Hardskills Technical basic training, ideally in the electrical engineering field Further training as a specialist for occupational safety and health protection or willingness to undergo further training At least 5 years of professional experience in an industrial environment Very good German language skills and good English language skills Softskills Very good communication skills and assertiveness Ability to convey complex facts in a comprehensible manner Analytical thinking and structured working method Teamwork and high social competence Self-initiative and proactive working method Conflict resolution skills and persuasive power Willingness to travel (20%) We offer An open and collegial corporate culture Freedom for ideas Participation in sports and leisure activities Promotion through further training, especially at our SKAN Academy Intensive and job-oriented training Short decision-making paths and flat hierarchies Open communication policy 5 weeks of vacation and possibility of additional vacation days Further information We look forward to receiving your complete application documents (CV, diplomas, and work certificates), which you can submit directly through our career page.
