Job description: In the warehouse area as a foreman, you are responsible for the operational management of the warehouse and commissioning area in a three-shift operation. You ensure compliance with work, safety and process specifications, coordinate personnel and orders, and guarantee a smooth, timely warehouse and commissioning operation. In this role, you report to the team manager of the warehouse. Your tasks: • As a foreman in the warehouse, you are responsible for the following points in shift operation: • Occupational safety and regulatory compliance • Ensuring compliance with all work and safety regulations (AS regulations) • Raising awareness among employees for safe working • Instruction and training of employees • Monitoring compliance with team and company rules • Operational control and monitoring • Monitoring the current order situation and ensuring timely processing of orders • Ensuring proper output • Process and quality control • Control of warehouse processes and commissioning workflows, especially in the new commissioning zone • Ensuring compliance with defined process standards • Personnel coordination • Coordination of personnel capacities according to the current order situation during the shift • Contact person for employees during the shift • Tasks in the system (SAP) • Retrieval and provision of material for the commissioning zone • Management of logistical movements and coordination of inbound and outbound movements • Power user for system questions during the shift • Shift handover • Creation of a complete shift protocol • Structured handover of the shift to the subsequent foreman / the next shift • Interface and close cooperation with the team manager of the warehouse • Continuously improve process • Participation in the continuously improve process and thus further develop the warehouse area Your profile: Basic training in logistics Willingness to work shifts Several years of leadership experience (>2 years) in logistics or warehouse Good SAP knowledge SAP WM and EWM knowledge MS Office knowledge Knowledge of automated warehouse systems or high-bay warehouses and their technical availability Knowledge of occupational safety Experience in dealing with maintenance partners Good SAP knowledge SAP WM and EWM knowledge MS Office knowledge Sense of responsibility and role model function Assertiveness and team orientation Organizational and coordination talent Quality and safety awareness Stress tolerance and decision-making ability in shift operation Good German language skills in word and writing Your benefits: Attractive salary and social benefits Employee assistance program Modern office space We look forward to your application (also in English).
