The Département de la femme, de l'enfant et de l'adolescent has the mission to offer quality care adapted to the needs of women at each stage of their lives and to the health problems faced by newborns, children, and adolescent girls and boys from birth until the age of 16. It works towards the development of cutting-edge services and specialty competence centers. The team of the development and growth service works on issues related to the development, functioning, and recovery capacity, "brain plasticity," of the brain. Its research is interested in various fields of development ranging from cognitive neuroscience to child psychology. Psychologist in the Development and Growth Service - 30% You are attached to the development and growth service in close collaboration with the Université de Genève, the Faculté de Médecine and the Faculté de Psychologie. Affiliations are possible depending on the scientific profile. You work on the multidisciplinary aspects of child development and you perform developmental evaluations of children aged 0 to 12 years within the framework of the Centre de développement de l'enfance. You also contribute to the service's research program on the outcome of children at risk of developmental disorders, covering applied and fundamental aspects. Qualifications You possess a MAS in psychotherapy or neuropsychology (or have been in the MAS training process for at least one year) or a title deemed equivalent. You have experience in the field of developmental assessment of young children at risk (prematurity, perinatal complications, genetic syndromes, high-risk parenting, etc.), as well as in conducting assessment interviews with families. You possess solid knowledge of developmental assessment tools for preschool and school-age children, in-depth knowledge of cognitive and motor development, as well as in child psychopathology and the direction of research and teaching. Your areas of expertise are psychological assessment of the child, the cognitive-behavioral approach, communication techniques, developmental psychology, child and adolescent psychopathology, intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorders, and multiple disabilities. You have excellent interpersonal skills and an aptitude to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while being autonomous. You possess organizational skills and initiative.
