For the Basel location, we are looking for an experienced leader as: Head of HVAC+S / Abteilungsleiter:in Gebäudetechnik-Planung HLKKS # YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY In this key role, you will lead the HLKKS team within the Building Design department, consisting of engineers, specialist site managers, and apprentices. You will assume technical and organizational leadership, be responsible for resource management, and promote your employees through coaching, training, and further development. Additionally, you will recruit new team members and strengthen the technical competence of the area. Furthermore, you will maintain and expand a network of SMEs, develop standards in the HLKKS area, and actively drive knowledge management forward. You will work closely with other specialist departments and business units, calculate offers, define deliverables, and determine the strategic direction of the HLKKS area in projects. Supporting business development and marketing, building customer relationships, and the exchange of best practices are also part of your tasks. YOUR PROFILE You have a completed university degree in building services, mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a comparable field of study. Alternatively, you bring training as a building services planner for ventilation or heating-refrigeration with corresponding further training and professional experience. You have several years of experience in leading project teams or a related department, ideally in a Life Science environment. You possess excellent knowledge in technical building planning, a pronounced understanding of interfaces, and in-depth knowledge of country-specific requirements such as SIA 108 or suissetec-Guidelines. Experience in the execution of large-scale projects as well as strong organizational, conceptual, and communicative skills distinguish you. Mobility and the willingness to travel between locations and project sites are a matter of course for you.
