Berne, Suisse \| 80-100% What you can contribute <br /> • Participate in analyses concerning the growth, productivity, competitiveness and attractiveness of the Swiss economic location • Support the development of the new Confederation report on growth, notably through bibliographic research, data analysis and the preparation of scientific results • Carry out empirical analyses on the evolution of framework conditions and long-term economic development • Conduct research and write contributions relating to the development of Swiss competition law <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Studies in economic sciences, ideally with a specialization in macroeconomics, economic policy or econometrics • Experience in data analysis • Interest in issues of growth policy and competition policy • Writing proficiency and interest in writing scientific texts • Quick-wittedness, autonomy and analytical thinking • Interest in issues at the intersection of economics and politics • Good oral and written knowledge of two official languages; good knowledge of English <br /> In a few words The Economic Policy Directorate ensures the coherence and growth orientation of economic policy in the general interest of the country. We develop the strategic orientations of economic policy, transpose them into legislation and provide in-depth analyses of the national and international economic situation. As a service responsible for fundamental economic issues, we support key policy areas and ensure that economic policy decisions are fact-based and future-oriented. The Growth and Competition Policy sector analyzes long-term economic development as well as the success factors of a prosperous economic location. It is also responsible for the framework conditions of competition policy.
