You have a sense of language and want to help shape how the culture and natural history of the Canton of Lucerne becomes tangible through individual memories, events, everyday experiences, and results of your own research? For almost two years now, the digital history collection has supplemented the collection of Museum Luzern. It gives the population a voice and expands the content of exhibitions and current topics. More than 250 contributions have already been collected on an interactive story map and make the diversity of Lucerne's history visible. Your tasks • At the center of your activities, you will be responsible for the digital collection of Lucerne stories, support interested parties in recording their contributions, exchange ideas with various project partners, and ensure that the stories find their place on the interactive story map. • As part of the museum program, you will develop new thematic history collections, bring in your own ideas, and implement them from conception to implementation. • With your sense of language and attention to detail, you will carefully research and review historical content, edit texts editorially, and make topics from history, culture, and nature understandable and vivid for different target groups. • With a trained eye for content and design, you will review image material, perform simple image editing, and ensure that texts and images work together harmoniously. • In addition, you will gain insights into the communication and marketing of the museum and support with newsletters, social media, recording events, and updating on-site displays. Your profile • An ongoing master's degree in history, cultural studies, journalism, or a comparable field provides the technical basis for this versatile task. • Curiosity and joy in thorough research characterize you and motivate you to critically question and carefully examine historical content. • A stylistically confident handling of language helps you to formulate texts in a target-group-specific manner and to find the right tone for different formats. • Independence, initiative, and reliability characterize your way of working. At the same time, you communicate openly and securely with different contact persons and actively contribute to the collaboration. • You use digital tools and new applications as a matter of course and have ideally already gained initial experience with a content management system (CMS).
