Our "Governance & Financial Compliance" team is specialized in managing compliance and legal risks, particularly in the areas of investing and trading. We are specifically the point of contact for the topics of Suitability / Asset Management (including conflicts of interest and sustainability) and market conduct rules. In addition, we run the specialist department for directives and are responsible for the bank's regulatory monitoring. Specialist Compliance Officer (a) Scope of employment 80-100% Place of work Bern-Bundesplatz How you will be enthusiastic You will initiate and conduct 2nd-line controls in the areas of Suitability and Asset Management (FIDLEG, KAG, FINIG) and analyze the annual risks in these areas You will process requests regarding Suitability and Asset Management (FIDLEG, KAG, FINIG) You will develop training materials and participate in training and further education on Suitability and Asset Management (FIDLEG, KAG, FINIG) You will review and process internal directives and contracts in the areas of Suitability and Asset Management You will participate in other compliance tasks (including controls, requests, training and further education, directives, contracts) regarding market conduct rules (including personal transactions), conflicts of interest, sustainability, specialist department for directives, and regulatory monitoring What you will bring You have a completed Swiss law or economics university degree (Uni/FH/HF). In-depth further training in the corresponding compliance areas is an advantage You have in-depth knowledge and experience (ideally supervisory experience) in the areas of Suitability and Asset Management (FIDLEG, KAG, and FINIG) You have an affinity for IT (Excel and data analysis) and enjoy working with new technologies You are a committed person who likes to take initiatives, thinks entrepreneurially, and is always curious.
