Learn more about the UZH as an employer! ### Tasks • Receipt of requests, concerns and error reports from our users/customers (1st and 2nd Level Support) • Operation, administration and further development of a complex IT infrastructure in a heterogeneous environment • Monitoring, maintenance and optimization of Windows server landscapes incl. lifecycle and patch management • Packaging, testing and distribution of software • Administration and operation of VMware, as well as storage and backup systems • Administration of Active Directory incl. user, group and permission management • Operation and further development of the core services (AD, DHCP, DNS, GPO) • Collaboration in network operations (Routing, Switching, Firewall, Security) • Creation and maintenance of installation, user and operator documentation • Coordination with external service providers as well as close cooperation with the Central IT of the university and participation in IT projects Profile • Completed informatics training (EFZ, HF or FH level) • Several years of experience as a System Engineer in a complex IT environment • Very good knowledge of Windows server environments and Active Directory, (DNS, DHCP, GPO) and VMware • Experience with Microsoft Exchange Administration as well as storage, backup and restore concepts • Sound network know-how (Routing, Switching, Firewall, Security) • Very good German skills, independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working • High service and quality orientation as well as willingness to take on responsibility
