We take care of roads, green spaces, forests, watercourses, water supply, sanitation and waste disposal - our team ensures that daily life runs smoothly. To strengthen our team, we are looking for early 2027 or by agreement for a motivated leading personality as YOUR TASKS IN THIS FUNCTION ARE: • The technical and personnel management of the road infrastructure sector. • Responsible for the municipal road infrastructure (new constructions, repairs, maintenance work, strategic planning). • Project management and construction management for all phases, from study to commissioning. • Senior coordination between the city and its partners in the road space and on traffic issues (public transport, network operators, police, etc.). • Support and implementation of neighborhood plans. • Responding to political interventions and requests from the population. • Drafting political proposals. • Expertise in building permit procedures. • Possibility to represent the head of public works. YOUR PROFILE MATCHES PERFECTLY IF YOU: • Have a sense of humor, like working in a team and are passionate about our road infrastructure. • Possess a FH/ETH civil engineering degree. • Have experience in road management and design. • Have good knowledge of planning and authorization procedures. • Are attracted to the range of tasks between strategy, projects and operational management. • Like to write and express yourself clearly. • Are committed to the concerns of politics and the population. • Are interested in future challenges of public works such as the sponge city, sustainability, new forms of mobility and digitalization, or already have experience in these areas.
