Officer for Individual Premium Reduction (100 %) The SVA BL is the competence center for social insurances in the canton of Basel-Landschaft. As an independent public-law company, it fulfills a legal mandate and makes a contribution to social security for the population and the economy of the canton. The individual premium reduction (IPV) will be oriented towards a new premium reduction model in the canton of Basel-Landschaft as of January 1, 2028. This expands the circle of entitled persons, which brings additional technical and advisory tasks. We are looking for a personality who acquires in-depth knowledge of the existing legal foundations, processes, and procedures and simultaneously builds up their expertise on the new model step by step. For the department of Cantonal Tasks, we are looking for an Officer for Individual Premium Reduction (100 %) as of October 1, 2026, or by agreement. What moves you You process IPV benefit applications for people in modest economic circumstances independently You check entitlement requirements and draft rulings and appeal decisions You advise our customers competently - whether in writing, by phone, or in person on site in our customer consulting You are in regular contact with health insurers and the authorities of all 86 municipalities in the canton of Basel-Landschaft You acquire in-depth knowledge of the legal foundations and processes of IPV and develop into a specialist in your area of responsibility You accompany the further development of IPV and contribute to the introduction of the new premium reduction model from 2028 What you bring Training in the commercial sector; ideally professional experience in social or health insurance Interest in legal issues and enjoyment of working on complex matters and presenting them in an understandable way Team-oriented work and openness to new things Independent, precise, and efficient work as well as professional and friendly demeanor, even in hectic situations Strong service orientation and professional handling of different claimant groups Quick comprehension Stylistically correct German; foreign languages are a plus Good MS-Office skills, experience with AKIS is an advantage Your benefits at SVA BL A good work-life balance is important to us.
