In Yverdon-les-Bains, you will join a tight-knit team of project managers, working in direct collaboration with the design office, the manufacturing workshop, and management. Our metal construction projects cover: Metal structures and frameworksTechnical platforms, walkways, stairs, and handrailsMechanically welded equipment and industrial installationsSilos, piping, and production linesProjects for regulated environments (pharma, agri-food) Your role You will manage your metal construction projects from A to Z: from the analysis of client demand to the final acceptance on site. You are the orchestrator between the client, the design office, the workshop, and the assembly teams, ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs, quality, and safety. Your main responsibilities Sales & Costing • Analysis of specifications and client plans • Technical site visits before offering and on-site measurements • Complete cost calculation (material, manufacturing, assembly) • Drafting of offers and presentation of technical variants • Commercial negotiation and follow-up of client reminders Technical Management & Design Office • 3D modeling and supervision of assembly, detail, and manufacturing plans • Dimensioning of base plates and anchors • Verification of bolted and welded assemblies • Validation of bill of materials and cutting lists • Control of material quantities and resolution of technical problems Purchasing & Procurement • Consultation of suppliers (steel, stainless steel, galvanization, paint) • Comparison of offers, negotiation of prices and deadlines • Placing orders in Bexio and follow-up of confirmations • Control of delivery deadlines and management of site supplies Production & Site • Launch into manufacturing and organization of workshop priorities • Preparation of site interventions (equipment lists, lifting equipment, cherry pickers) • Coordination of assembly teams and management of unforeseen events • Site meetings and progress monitoring • Quality control on site and management of non-conformities Safety & Documentation • Development of safety concepts and site risk analyses • Preparation of client documents (regulated industries) • Preparation of quality and as-built dossiers Collection of EN 10204 material certificates Financial Management • Budget monitoring and analysis of schedule/budget variances • Control of margins and preparation of invoicing • Profitability analysis and feedback from experience Desired Profile • Technical training in metal construction, boilermaking, mechanical engineering or equivalent • Minimum 3 years of experience in managing metal construction/industrial structure projects • Mastery of 3D modeling (Inventor, SolidWorks or equivalent) • Solid understanding of metal assemblies and manufacturing constraints • Experience in project costing and negotiation with fourn
