You take over the control, maintenance, and repair of aircraft and aircraft components and work closely with other specialists directly on the aircraft as well as in the workshops. 1. & 2. Apprenticeship year Basic training in the ÜK-free training workshop of SWISS TechOps: You acquire a broad foundation as a Polymechanic with a focus on manual, conventional, and CNC-controlled manufacturing as well as the assembly of mechanical and pneumatic components. 3. & 4. Apprenticeship year Specialized training in aircraft maintenance at SWISS at Zurich Airport-Kloten General • 1-2 days per week theoretical training at the vocational school in Bülach • Possibility of attending the vocational middle school (BMS) • Possibility to acquire the Aircraft Mechanic License EASA Cat. A during the training After 4 years, you complete your training with the EFZ - and are perfectly equipped for an exciting future in aviation. Requirements ## This is what you bring with you • Completion of compulsory schooling (Sek A or B) with good performance • Completed trial apprenticeship as a Polymechanic • Manual dexterity and technical interest • Joy in technology as well as in the English language • Reliability, sense of responsibility, and team spirit • Resilience as well as willingness to work shifts in the 3rd and 4th apprenticeship year Note: An internal aptitude test takes place during the application process.
