Your tasks In this function, you can expect varied tasks around modern traffic planning, smart technologies, and sustainable mobility: Development of modern traffic concepts with a focus on smart technologies and sustainable mobility. Conception, planning, and implementation of intelligent mobility solutions. Implementation of digital platforms and solutions for traffic control and optimization. Analysis of mobility data and derivation of recommendations for action to improve the traffic infrastructure. Participation in interdisciplinary projects on traffic safety and smart mobility solutions. Conducting traffic investigations and traffic analyses to optimize traffic flows. Development and evaluation of traffic concepts for various urban and regional projects. Planning and realization of traffic systems. Preparation of expert reports and expert opinions in the field of traffic engineering. Collaboration with other departments, authorities, and external partners. Completed studies as a traffic engineer, traffic planner, civil engineer with a focus on traffic or a comparable qualification Professional experience in traffic planning, traffic technology, or traffic safety Knowledge of traffic modeling and simulation, ideally with Visum and/or Vissim Experience in handling GIS software and relevant planning tools Interest in digital solutions, smart technologies, and data-based traffic planning Ability to analyze, interpret, and derive practical recommendations from mobility data Structured, solution-oriented, and independent working method Distinct team skills and communication strength.
