Following the retirement of the head of Road Maintenance, we are looking for the Works and Environment department Un-e chef-fe d’équipe pour le secteur Voirie à 100% Main tasks: Lead, supervise and coordinate a team of 13 collaborators Plan, organize and supervise the daily work of the collaborators Ensure waste collection, cleaning, snow removal as well as landscaping and maintenance work for the public domain (fountains, urban furniture, small structures etc.) Manage snow removal and salting operations, the on-call service as well as emergency interventions Plan, monitor and control the work carried out internally by the team and, if necessary, by external service providers Manage the vehicle fleet, machines and equipment, as well as the purchase of material and raw materials Participate in the preparation of budgets and estimates, ensure financial monitoring and administrative management of the road maintenance Collaborate closely with other municipal services, notably for the organization of events and the needs of other services Prepare reports and recommendations for the Municipality Organize and ensure the continuous training of collaborators Ensure compliance with safety rules, occupational health and current standards Represent the road maintenance service during official sessions, meetings and events Required knowledge and skills: Technical training in the field of public works, road maintenance or civil engineering, or CFC in a building trade or a title deemed equivalent Proven experience in a similar position, preferably within the technical service of a public administration Experience in leading a team, with the ability to unite and motivate collaborators Good knowledge of seasonal road maintenance activities, particularly winter service Strong organizational skills, in particular for the planning and management of the winter service Ability to plan, organize and prioritize activities and resources Proficiency with common IT tools Sense of organization, reliability, professional conscience, autonomy, practical spirit and proactive attitude Excellent leadership and team management skills Sense of public service and ability to maintain very good contacts with the population and users, contributing to the good image of the municipal administration Availability for irregular hours, emergency interventions outside of usual hours and participation in the winter service Category B driving license mandatory, categories C and forklift license an asset Residence located at a maximum of 20 minutes by car from the workplace (intervention time) Clean criminal record Swiss nationality or valid C residence permit Start date: 1st July 2025; Application deadline: For all additional information, Monsieur Daniel Giacomini, Road Maintenance Team Leader, is available (Tél. ).
