Cellcosmet is an innovative and pioneering global luxury cosmetics brand, dedicated to developing high-quality beauty products, combining scientific innovation and excellence. Our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction has allowed us to establish ourselves as one of the leaders in the Swiss cellular cosmetics industry.
For our headquarters based in Châtel-Saint-Denis, we are looking for a:
Manufacturing Technology Engineer
Your Mission
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you contribute directly to the evolution and performance of our industrial tool by transforming the needs of Operations into robust, high-performance, and sustainable technical solutions.
At the interface between industrialization, production technologies, and continuous improvement, you optimize existing packaging equipment, manage the introduction of new machines, and develop automation opportunities within Filling & Assembly, Production Bulk, and intralogistics flows activities.
This position is operational and transversal. In close contact with the production teams, you develop a fine understanding of processes and field constraints, provide your expertise during machine trials and adjustments, and intervene in support when a process issue requires in-depth technical analysis. You regularly collaborate with the Filling & Assembly, Product Development, Maintenance, Production Bulk, QSE teams as well as with our suppliers and integrators.
Your Responsibilities
Ensure the internal industrial feasibility of new products and packagings on packaging equipment: machine trials, acceptance criteria, adjustments, recommendations, and transition to routine;
Develop and capitalize on know-how related to packaging equipment: standard parameters and settings, operating procedures, machine knowledge base, and team training;
Provide technical field support to the Filling & Assembly teams in case of blockage related to settings or process parameters, analyze recurring issues, and evolve standards when necessary;
Identify needs and opportunities for new equipment, tooling, technologies, mechanization, and automation with the operational teams;
Manage new equipment projects from end to end: expression of needs, specifications, search and evaluation of solutions and suppliers, technical choice, acquisition, project monitoring, FAT/SAT, installation, commissioning, and ramp-up;
Evaluate and develop automation and technological improvement opportunities across all Operations;
Manage industrial performance improvement projects: productivity, capacity, ergonomics, flows, loss reduction;
Participate in the construction of the site's technological and automation roadmap and ensure active monitoring of relevant industrial technologies and solutions.
Your qualifications
You hold a degree from an engineering school or a Master's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, automation, or an equivalent qualification;
You have initial experience in an industrial environment, ideally in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, medical device, premium food sectors, or in another demanding or regulated industry;
You are fluent in French and have a good level of English (B2 level);
You have a good understanding of industrial equipment and ideally filling, assembly, screwing/crimping, labeling, cartoning, or boxing processes;
You master the fundamentals of industrialization and technical project management: definition of needs, specifications, evaluation of solutions, FAT/SAT, commissioning, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement;
You are above all a field profile: curious, pragmatic, and analytical, you like to understand how equipment works, search for the cause of a problem, and build a concrete solution with the users;
Autonomous and organized, you are capable of managing several projects in parallel and effectively coordinating internal teams, suppliers, and integrators;
You know how to formalize and transmit technical know-how in a simple, structured, and directly usable way by the teams.
Start date: to be agreed
Contract: CDI at 100%
