Project Manager in Agriculture with a Focus on Animal Husbandry (a) # 80% - 100% | Hohenrain and Schüpfheim | immediately or by agreement ## In this newly created key role, you will strategically lead important projects at our BBZN locations in Hohenrain and Schüpfheim and bring your expertise in practice, education, and consulting - especially in the field of animal husbandry. You will work closely with technical and management staff and, if possible, have the opportunity to develop towards a further leadership position. Your tasks • You plan, lead, and successfully implement strategic projects at BBZN with a focus on animal husbandry, for example, for the farm in Hohenrain. You work closely with our prorectorates and departments. • You work on technical questions related to animal husbandry, barn construction, nutrient flows, and farm manure management together with technical staff from the team, with a holistic view of agricultural contexts. • Together with the head of the specialist group, you develop the animal husbandry department strategically and operationally. • You bring your knowledge into teaching and consulting mandates in a practical way and thus strengthen the transfer of knowledge between education, consulting, and practice. • If possible, you take on additional leadership tasks and actively shape the further development of the department. Your profile • A university degree in agronomy with a focus on animal husbandry or a comparable qualification forms the basis of your technical expertise. • Several years of professional experience with a close connection to agricultural practice and project management, as well as ideally initial leadership experience, characterize your career. • You have a didactic certificate for teaching at vocational schools or are willing to acquire it. • Networked thinking, initiative, and a solution-oriented approach are your strengths. • You enjoy collaborating at different locations and are willing to work flexibly on site in Hohenrain and Schüpfheim.
