For one of our good customers, an internationally active production company in the Basel region, we are currently looking for a Try & Hire position: Betriebsmechaniker Your area of responsibility: Professional, independent and efficient execution of maintenance, repair and maintenance work on production facilities, machines and technical facilities Carrying out preventive and reactive maintenance work to ensure high plant availability Analysis and elimination of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults during ongoing operation Participation in the creation, maintenance and further development of maintenance plans Systematic fault diagnosis, documentation of faults, repairs and technical measures Active participation in technical improvements, plant optimizations and internal projects Bringing in ideas for improving the availability, safety, quality and efficiency of the plants Support in conversions, adjustments and optimizations of machines and operating resources Collaboration with production, quality assurance and external service providers Ensuring order, occupational safety and environmentally friendly work in your own area of responsibility Your profile: Completed technical vocational training as a production mechanic, maintenance mechanic or comparable training In-depth knowledge of hydraulics, particularly in the handling of heavy presses and comparable systems Knowledge in the field of pneumatics as well as in the mechanical maintenance of production facilities Experience in fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of machines Advanced knowledge in reading technical drawings, circuit diagrams and maintenance documents Initial experience in technical improvements, conversions or small projects is an advantage Basic understanding of structured maintenance processes, spare parts management and preventive maintenance Practical, solution-oriented personality with a pronounced hands-on mindset Enjoyment in solving technical problems sustainably and implementing improvements Independent, reliable and structured way of working Good communication skills and networked thinking German language skills in word and writing, English language skills are an advantage Good MS-Office skills, experience with ticket or maintenance systems is an advantage Flexibility and willingness to work in a shift organization and own vehicle If you feel addressed and meet the requirements, please send us your complete application documents by mail. jpideacc8d0jm jit0626jm jiy26jm
