Stage and Video Technicians, 60-70% each

IG Rote Fabrik is looking for, starting January 2027 or by arrangement, two stage and video technicians, 60-70% each We are one of the largest alternative cultural centers in Europe and have been committed to cultural diversity in Zürich for over 40 years. As a multi-sector house, we offer space for critical debate, co-creation, and experimental formats. We promote contemporary, critical culture with a cross-sectoral, transdisciplinary, inclusive, and intersectional approach. As an agile circle organization association with collective leadership, we are currently in a transition of our organizational culture and structure, accompanied by external specialists for agile circle organization and diversity processes. Tasks As part of a three-person team, you are responsible for around 300 events annually on the Rote Fabrik grounds, for the maintenance of the event spaces, the inventory and planning, as well as personnel scheduling. At IG Rote Fabrik, the collegial leadership of your own area and participation in cross-sectoral committees are also among your tasks. This includes representing diversity-sensitive principles. Requirement Profile You have already been active in stage construction for several years, are familiar with video technology, and have training or extensive experience in the event sector stage technology. It is an advantage if you possess a forklift license. You bring experience in the area of budget and personnel planning and take responsibility in cost control. You do not shy away from administrative tasks, write and speak German, have basic knowledge of English, and are well-versed in Office programs. Team and dialogical communication skills and organizational talent characterize you. You keep a cool head even in hectic times and demonstrate responsibility and initiative. Social competencies are essential for this job. Likewise, this position as a stage technician involves irregular working hours, holiday and weekend shifts, as well as flexibility and a healthy back. If you also have manual dexterity, are not afraid of heights, and have passion for culture, you are the right person for us. Your working time is based on an annual target (40-hour week), the standard wage for 70% is CHF 4550.- gross for 13 months a year, and you benefit from extensive social benefits.
