Apprentice Chef EFZ A apprenticeship in the hospital is varied, practical and forward-looking. In a family atmosphere, we train nine different professions - always with the human being at the center. For August 2027, we offer an exciting and varied training as an Apprentice Chef EFZ in the healthcare sector. You will get a comprehensive insight into the daily life of the hospital and will be individually and competently accompanied and supported. During your three-year training period, you will work in various areas of the kitchen and acquire a broad knowledge of various topics such as food, cooking methods and nutrition. You will cook for patients, visitors and our hospital staff and help with the preparation of banquets. In addition to the classic kitchen, you also have the opportunity to prepare exotic dishes for different target groups in the hospital. You can also bring your own ideas and wishes into the hospital kitchen. To deepen your theoretical knowledge, you will attend the vocational school in Aarau and complete the inter-company courses of the health sector. It is also possible to complete the training with a professional maturity.
