During the three- to four-year apprenticeship, trainees go through different departments and areas and thus gain an overview of the entire company. The exchange and cooperation of trainees from different professions are strongly promoted. Thus, trainees organize occasions and events, work together as a project team, and thereby learn high social and professional competence.     At a glance   Breathe life into our systems and learn the fascinating world of automated control and programming.     Tasks   • The first year of apprenticeship takes place externally in the basic year Electronics/Automation at the Gewerbeschule in Basel • Afterwards, the training takes place in the different internal automation departments • Additional insights into product testing and project management • Building of automated control • Programming and testing the products • Contact and consultation of external customers • Intensive exchange with project managers and engineers • From the 3rd year of apprenticeship, travel to customers domestically and abroad is possible • Duration: 4 years • Vocational school: 2 days per week in Basel • Specialization: Mechanical, electrical and metal industry • Federal Vocational Baccalaureate: possible     Hardskills   • Completed middle or upper school level • Good performance in mathematics and physics • Very good German skills • Good English skills, other languages an advantage     Softskills   • Strong technical understanding • Careful and precise way of working • Persistent and patient     We offer   • Training at the headquarters in Allschwil • Practice-oriented and varied training • Guidance by qualified vocational trainers • Exchange with other trainees • Free GA • Open and collegial corporate culture • Freedom for ideas • Participation in sports and leisure activities   If you have any questions, please contact Katharina Merkel.
