Senior Physician Pain Medicine and Anesthesia

As part of the Medical Service Centers, Anesthesia performs around 6'500 anesthesias annually across a broad professional spectrum. With a 24h specialist presence system (shift operation), we ensure anesthesiological care in the OR, in the intensive care unit, in the delivery room, in the emergency station, as well as during resuscitations. ### What awaits you • Very well-frequented pain consultation clinic in a team of two to three pain specialists with a high proportion of invasive pain therapy including implantation of neurostimulators • Anesthesiological spectrum of a medium-sized cantonal hospital including obstetrics with possible part-time deployment in anesthesia including duty system • Further training of our assistant physicians • Assumption of professional departmental responsibilities • If interested, deployment as an SGNOR emergency physician or equivalent • A manageable team that would very much like to welcome you into its circle • Appreciative interdisciplinary exchange How you will move us forward • Specialist in anesthesiology, recognized in Switzerland • Proven qualification in invasive pain therapy or already an advanced level of training therein • Interest in further developing the pain therapy well-anchored in the canton and potentially leading it in the near future • Understanding and interest in lived quality in the areas of medicine, medical economics, medical processes, patient contact, stakeholder management and team • Readiness to constructively accompany the Spitäler Schaffhausen in the transformation process surrounding the new hospital construction Family friendliness The Spitäler Schaffhausen as an employer Spitäler Schaffhausen includes the Kantonsspital, the Psychiatrischen Dienste, the Praxen Radiologie und Kardiologie Posthof Neuhausen as well as the Praxis Neurologie Schaffhausen Zentrum.
