The Department of Operation and Technology is responsible for the efficient and economical operation of buildings. Then take on a central role at the University of Bern in the further development of the infrastructural and technical building operation. The focus of this function lies in provider management and in the coordination and further development of services around building operation and building technology. As a specialist: in facility management, you work closely with all areas of the BT department and understand yourself as an internal: service provider. This includes: Controlling and developing external providers and services in facility management further. Planning, procuring, implementing, and optimizing facility services and building technology services. Developing service levels, operator and FM strategies, as well as operating concepts further. Leading public procurements and accompanying operational projects. Ensuring quality, environmental, safety, and sustainability standards. Analyzing operating figures and deriving optimization measures. Processing complaints and ensuring the quality of facility services. Actively networking with internal stakeholders, authorities, and external service providers.
