Social Educator in psychiatry - 80%

As a social educator in psychiatry, you support the recovery process by integrating patients into a social fabric, outside of care, through spaces provided that stimulate autonomy, taking initiative, personal interest, and interpersonal relational respect. You collaborate with hospital units, cultural affairs, the Réseau Santé Sport Inclusion (RSSI) as well as the social network. You coordinate, support, and set up activities using a number of mediations allowing patients to (re-)find a balance between personal interest and social activity during hospitalization. While guaranteeing the smooth running of the CNB by preserving the integrity of users, places, and by promoting integration. You collaborate closely with the association Bistro’ and support its reintegration activities in partnership. You participate in the planning, organization, and implementation of events in partnership with hospital and outpatient care units and/or other internal and external organizations. Your function leads you to participate in the interdisciplinary projects of your department as well as to share your practice with the professional sector of social educators of the HUG. You hold a Bachelor HES in social education or a diploma deemed equivalent, recognized and registered by the SEFRI. You benefit from good knowledge in mental health and psychiatry. Experience in psychiatry is indispensable. You have a good knowledge of yourself and your own limits. You have a sense of responsibility as well as solid knowledge of the Geneva socio-cultural network.
