For us, the kitchen is much more than a place to cook - it is an important meeting place and a central part of our pedagogical everyday life. We place great emphasis on healthy, seasonal, and child-friendly nutrition and are looking for a person who supports and helps shape this attitude. The workload is distributed over 5 days a week, from approximately 08.00 to 12.00. Your profile Basic knowledge of nutrition or completed training as a cook Experience in cooking, ideally in community catering or childcare Joy and empathy in dealing with small children Independent, clean, and structured way of working Stress tolerance, flexibility, and organizational talent Teamwork and willingness to participate in kindergarten everyday life Willingness to participate in events and team meetings Creativity in menu design and interest in sustainable, fresh, and seasonal cuisine Your tasks: Planning and preparation of varied, child-friendly meals including baby food Creation of seasonal and balanced menu plans (according to «fourchette verte») Purchasing, ordering, and proper storage of food Compliance with budget as well as ecological and health aspects Ensuring hygiene and order according to cantonal regulations Maintenance and upkeep of kitchen appliances Taking over household tasks (laundry, non-food, etc.) Introduction and guidance of employees in kitchen processes Your passion: Baking fresh bread - a matter of course for you Homemade dishes like Spätzli are a must for you Fresh, healthy cuisine (e.g., preparing falafel yourself) excites you Your benefit with us: Motivated and happy children with a big appetite A warm, dedicated, and supportive team Family-friendly and appreciative working atmosphere Practically equipped kitchen Annual working time model Fair employment conditions and salary A kindergarten management that is interested in you and (almost) always has an open door   Have we sparked your interest?
