We are looking for a Head of Department for Developments and Strategic Planning as of 1 October 2026 or by arrangement. Tasks ## • You will lead the Department of Developments and Strategic Planning personally, organizationally, and professionally with 5-7 employees and continuously develop it. • As a member of the Traffic and Urban Space management team, you will develop the multi-year planning, prioritize ongoing tasks, topics, and projects, and further develop the professional stance of the division. • Together with your employees, you will analyze social, technological, and spatial developments and derive the need for action in the areas of urban space, mobility, and traffic. • You will coordinate with your employees the implementation of the Urban Space and Mobility Strategy 2040, review its impact, and ensure the necessary foundations and analyses. • You will create the strategic planning prerequisites for the implementation of the Urban Space and Mobility Strategy 2040, prioritize planning and projects (including the agglomeration program), coordinate with the Confederation, Canton, as well as neighboring municipalities, and represent the strategy as well as the interests of the Tiefbauamt in various committees.
