Localité Genève Disponibilité De suite Tipo Temporaire Référence 41084 Publié le 03/07/2026 We are looking for our, an international research laboratory and leader in its field, a Superviseur de travaux en Fibre Optique (H/F) : Job Description ### You will be responsible for preparing and supervising fiber optic cabling activities. In particular, you : - Analyze fiber optic installation requests issued • Carry out site studies/technical visits to prepare and plan installation activities. • Define cable routes and prepare quantitative estimates. - Document new cable installations and modifications in the fiber optic database (NetGEO). - Develop complete technical documentation detailing the installation work to be done - Supervise the execution including daily progress reports. - Act as a supervisor of work and services in accordance with safety rules. - Carry out the inspection and reception of the completed work. Profile ### Technical and behavioral skills : - Strong team work skills and ability to integrate into a multidisciplinary and international team. • Clear oral and written communication, including the ability to write concise work reports and present progress. - A rigorous and organized work style, strongly focused on safety, quality and documentation traceability. - Ability to read and understand technical drawings, cable routing and infrastructure documentation. • Basic knowledge of fiber optics and their applications; any prior exposure to fiber optics or cabling installations is an asset. • Basic knowledge of fiber optic measurement techniques (e.g. continuity checks and attenuation measurements) is an advantage. - A proactive attitude and willingness to work both in the field and on technical documentation. - Good mastery of Excel, Word and Outlook and basic knowledge of computer tools for managing technical data (e.g. databases for cable and infrastructure records). - Interest in fieldwork, supervision of industrial contractors and site coordination. Experience (project, internship or first job) in at least one of the following areas: cable installation, telecommunications networks, fiber optics or industrial infrastructure projects.
