Nanny

An English-speaking family in Steinhausen (ZG) is looking for a German-speaking caregiver (native German speaker) for the part-time care of their 3-year-old daughter. The position includes 2 days a week (preferably Monday and Friday, but other days are potentially negotiable) with 6–8 hours per day. A newborn also lives in the household, but is mainly cared for by its mother. Occasionally, it may happen that the caregiver is responsible for both children. The family wishes for an active and dedicated care of the daughter through age-appropriate activities in the house and outdoors in the surrounding area. A quiet and friendly family environment is very important to them, and they appreciate the caregiver's contribution to this atmosphere. Screen time is not allowed for the daughter - neither TV nor tablets or mobile phones. The caregiver should respect this rule and limit their own mobile phone use during working hours to a minimum. Photos, videos or regular updates are not required, except in emergencies. Depending on the time of day, the caregiver may be asked to prepare light meals or snacks for the daughter. A German-speaking caregiver with very good German language skills (native language) and good English language skills is being sought to communicate with the parents. This is a care role with shared responsibility, as the mother is often present.
