SAP Basis Specialist - Lausanne

Job Description ## • Ensure the supervision and smooth functioning of SAP environments. • Monitor systems and handle incidents detected via monitoring tools. • Configure, maintain, and optimize SAP technical components. • Manage and supervise SAP transports as well as their planning. • Analyze and resolve level 2 incidents and coordinate escalations if necessary. • Perform maintenance operations and participate in the integration of new solutions. • Contribute to the administration of systems, databases, backups, and scheduled jobs. • Lead activities related to upgrades, patches, support packs, and SAP notes. • Administer SAP roles, profiles, and authorizations. • Guarantee system security in accordance with SAP best practices. • Produce dashboards, performance indicators, and operational reports. • Maintain technical documentation and participate in knowledge sharing within the team. The Successful Applicant ## • Proven experience in SAP Basis administration. • Solid knowledge of SAP environments and their daily operation. • Experience in managing SAP transports, upgrades, and updates. • Good mastery of SAP security concepts, roles, and authorizations. • Knowledge of database administration and backup management. • Experience providing technical support on critical environments. • Ability to effectively diagnose and resolve complex incidents. • Ability to collaborate with external providers and internal teams. • Excellent organizational skills and sense of priorities. • Good communication skills and technical documentation writing. • Team spirit and orientation toward continuous improvement. • Availability to participate in an on-call service.
