It promotes a positive view of people with disabilities and puts its skills at the service of their participation and inclusion in society. Eben-Hézer Lausanne is part of the Fondation Eben-Hézer, a private law, non-profit organization recognized as being in the public interest. In order to complete the team of monitors for the Ateliers de Développement Personnel, for the Lotus workshop, where residents with disabilities are welcomed, we are looking for a qualified Social Educator or MSP (M/F) at an activity rate of 60%. Mission As an MSP, you ensure support in a personal development workshop welcoming adults. The workshop offers activities adapted to the individual needs and resources of the resident. The content of the activities is centered on the relational, bodily, and sensory aspects as well as the physical and psychic well-being of the person. This content is put into practice through a wide range of activities focused on relaxation and well-being. At ease in group activities as well as in individualized support, you collaborate with the entire network of beneficiaries to guarantee a consistency of support meeting the needs of the residents. Responsibilities Guarantee an optimal welcome of residents within the workshop, considering their needs Participate proactively in team life Propose individual and collective support and ensure the writing of reports and assessments Attend interdisciplinary meetings Develop your skills by participating regularly in training Integrate your activity into the institutional functioning Desired profile You possess a diploma in the socio-educational field complemented by experience in a workshop both with young people and aging people You possess a good vision of the challenges related to people with disabilities You have skills in supporting sensory and relaxing activities and your creativity allows you to adapt your tools to the needs of the residents welcomed You are at ease in supporting people presenting challenging behaviors You are at ease in teamwork and can also provide support individually You possess a good knowledge of the PPH and its applications Training in basal stimulation and/or palliative care: an asset Working environment We offer the possibility to participate in the development of an important institution, to take on challenges and, through continuous training, to develop your skills.
