We are convinced of the importance of training the new generation in our trades and with this in view, we offer an apprenticeship position as Apprentice Production Mechanic (CFC) Job Description You will develop varied technical skills and learn to intervene in the entire manufacturing process. You will be required to: • Read and interpret technical drawings \-- understand dimensions, tolerances and the requirements necessary for production • Precision machining \-- learning traditional and CNC machining techniques (turning, milling, drilling, grinding) • Fabrication of parts \-- realization of components according to technical plans and strict dimensional requirements • Quality control \-- verification of dimensions, surface states and compliance using measuring instruments (micrometer, profile projector, dial indicator) • Reading of plans \-- interpretation of technical drawings, understanding of tolerances and specifications • Basic maintenance \-- routine maintenance of machines and the workstation Profile • Excellent dexterity \-- ease in technical gestures and precise manual work • Marked interest in mechanics \-- natural motivation to understand, manipulate and assemble mechanical elements • Ease in technical and mathematical subjects \-- facility in approaching scientific and logical notions • Dynamism \-- proactive attitude and positive energy in daily work. • Good spatial vision \-- ability to visualize shapes, volumes and assemblies • Solid results in mathematics \-- solid school base for calculations, measurements and technical reasoning Required skills Languages Workplace La Chaux-de-Fonds Contact person If this apprenticeship interests you, please send us your complete application file (CV, cover letter, last 2 school reports) to: Rubattel et Weyermann SA Human Resources Rue Louis Chevrolet 41 2300 La Chaux-de-Fonds
