LOGISTICS MANAGER (f/h/d) Our client is one of the leading providers of transport and storage services throughout Switzerland. In order to strengthen our management team, we are looking for a Logistics Manager (f/h/d) for our site located in the French-speaking part of Switzerland / in the Bern region, with an entrepreneurial spirit and a marked sense of practicality. The start date is as soon as possible or by agreement. Your challenges In this versatile management function, you will assume overall responsibility for operational logistics and transport processes at the site. With your team of around 30 employees, you will ensure smooth, efficient and high-quality operations. You will report directly to the CEO of the group and be responsible for the following tasks: Operational management and development of the warehouse, transport and logistics areas Responsibility for inventory management, inventory processes, quality assurance as well as compliance with safety and health instructions at work Guarantee of an efficient flow of goods and continuous optimization of processes and procedures Planning and management of transport activities by optimizing the use of vehicles, personnel and resources Responsibility for route and itinerary planning as well as continuous cost optimization in the transport and logistics sector Management, encouragement and professional development of around 30 employees and team leaders Close collaboration with internal departments as well as professional exchanges with customers, suppliers and external partners Participation in strategic and organizational developments at the site Pursuit of the digitization of logistics processes with a view to gradually paperless logistics Guarantee of a high level of service, quality and customer orientation Our requirements To fill this responsible position, you ideally meet the following criteria: Initial training in logistics, technical or commercial fields, supplemented by further training as a supply chain manager, transport and logistics operations manager, or equivalent qualification as an advantage Several years of professional experience in an operational management position in the logistics, transport or storage sector In-depth knowledge in the areas of warehouse logistics, transport organization, personnel management and process optimization Experience in managing and developing employees and teams Good IT skills as well as an affinity for digital logistics processes Entrepreneurial spirit and good understanding of costs, quality and productivity Very good command of French as well as good command of German, both spoken and written Your personality: you are a resilient, pragmatic and responsible leader.
