Bern | 80-100% This is your contribution • Further develop the Host Nation Support (HNS) specialist area of the army within the Logistics specialist area (FGG 4) in the Kdo Op staff, as well as develop corresponding specifications and orders at the operational level and ensure their implementation • Plan and lead the HNS area in the operational environment and develop specifications within the framework of action planning and leadership for current and future missions • Participate in action planning groups (APG) of the Kdo Op as well as in external working groups and project teams and represent your own area of responsibility professionally • Develop case studies, advance planning, and concepts in the area of HNS, taking into account the relevant interfaces with partner organizations (BAV, ASTRA, BABS, BAZG) <br /> This makes you unique • University / University of Applied Sciences degree (Bachelor) or higher technical / business administration training with two to three years of function-relevant experience • Military training as a staff officer at the large formation level, preferably with experience at the operational level, as well as good knowledge regarding military logistics processes • Analytical and networked thinking as well as strong conceptual skills; communicative, team-oriented, and proficient in negotiation • High leadership, organizational, and social competence, assertiveness, resilience, and personal responsibility • Good active knowledge of at least one second official language as well as very good English skills and passive knowledge of a third official language <br /> In a nutshell You ensure that Switzerland, as the host nation, guarantees logistical and planning support for foreign armed forces within the framework of exercises and missions. In doing so, you contribute directly to the operational readiness of the Swiss Army and to multinational cooperation in the operational environment. You combine operational planning, conceptual development, and coordination with civilian and military partners into a central contribution to military operational capability.
