Night Watch (30% - 50%)

The Center for Social Pedagogy and Psychotherapy is a social service company for young people and young adults in difficult social situations, supported by the ZSP-Basel association. We offer places for 18 young people and young adult women and men between 14 and 22 years old. To strengthen our night watch team, we are looking for a committed personality for night and weekend shifts, starting immediately or by agreement. Night watch in the area of stationary living 30 - 50% Your tasks: • Presence and perception of supervisory duties during the night • Ensuring nighttime rest and consistent enforcement of house rules • Attendance checks and escorting unauthorized persons • Care and accompaniment of young people and young adults • Support for specialists in night operations • Room checks in case of rule violations • Contact person for blue light organizations • Consistent and situation-appropriate action in case of self-endangerment, violence or serious rule violations • Standby and on-call services • Participation in team meetings • Documentation and reporting using incident protocols You bring: • Completed training and experience in the security sector; ideally also in the social environment • Experience working with young people and young adults, preferably in a coercive context • High stress tolerance as well as mental and physical stability • Assertive, communicative and team-oriented • Conflict, reflection and compromise skills • Willingness to work nights, standbys and weekends • Minimum age 25 years • Driver's license category B • Very good German language skills in word and writing • Impeccable reputation We offer: • A meaningful activity with high personal responsibility • A varied field of work in a committed, interdisciplinary team • Support, debriefings and case analyses after stressful operations • Regular further training opportunities • Remuneration and social benefits according to cantonal personnel regulations • 13th monthly salary as well as allowances for standby, evening and weekend services
