To strengthen our team in Peptide Manufacturing Support, we are seeking a dedicated CMT Chemist (a), 100%.   Your tasks: • Responsibility for the timely production, release, and delivery of a commercial peptide product throughout the entire production process • Ensuring a smooth batch run as well as compliance with production, quality, and delivery targets • Analysis of process, quality, and performance data as well as identification and implementation of optimization measures • Active control and support of Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement initiatives • Coordination and support in the processing of deviations, OOS/OOE cases, and CAPA measures • Close collaboration with Production, QA, QC, Supply Chain, TechOps, and other interfaces to ensure product supply • Support during audits, inspections, and customer inquiries as well as representation of the Manufacturing department • Participation in product-related lifecycle, change control, and regulatory activities after product approval • Creation and evaluation of relevant key figures, reports, and campaign reviews for continuous performance improvement • Active participation in cross-functional projects and support of the strategic development of the Commercial Manufacturing Team • Possibility of international deployment at Bachem Americas after successful training • Assumption of extended responsibilities within the Commercial Manufacturing Team   Your profile: • University degree (Bachelor, Master, or PhD) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a comparable natural science discipline • Initial professional experience in a GMP-regulated environment, ideally in the pharmaceutical or CDMO industry • Experience in peptide production or pharmaceutical production is an advantage • Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, quality requirements, and product lifecycles • Interest in Operational Excellence, process optimization, and data-based decision-making • Initial experience in project management or cross-functional collaboration is an advantage • Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work with a strong sense of responsibility • Entrepreneurial thinking, high self-initiative, and pronounced communication and team skills • Very good German and English language skills in word and writing • Safe handling of MS Office; knowledge of SAP or similar systems is an advantage   Our offer: • A dynamic and strongly growing work environment with internal development and training opportunities • Company-internal kindergarten on the Bachem campus in Bubendorf • 60% takeover of pension fund contributions by Bachem AG as well as the possibility of over-obligatory provision with our choice savings plan • Access to benefit platforms with discounts from external partners • Fresh, healthy, and varied food in our staff restaurant • Diverse free sports activities on the Bachem campus   Do you want to drive innovations forward with us?
