Job Description ### We are recruiting an expert Microsoft and Cloud engineer on behalf of our client, for a permanent position directly with the client. Your mission Within the Infrastructure team, you play a central role in the evolution, securing, and operation of the organization's Microsoft and Cloud environments. You act both as a technical expert, a reference for Microsoft technologies, and a partner to project teams in order to support technological transformations and guarantee the availability of IT services. In a context combining on-site infrastructures, hybrid environments, and cloud services, you actively participate in the definition of architectures, the optimization of existing platforms, as well as the introduction of new technological solutions. Your responsibilities Architecture and evolution of infrastructures • Design and evolve Microsoft and Cloud technical architectures. • Carry out technical studies related to new business needs and evaluate their impact on the existing environment. • Participate in technological choices, architectural orientations, and platform evolution strategies. • Ensure continuous monitoring of Microsoft, Cloud, and infrastructure technologies. • Support internal teams in the adoption of new solutions and best practices. Technical project management • Contribute to transformation, modernization, and infrastructure migration projects. • Participate in the analysis, design, configuration, testing, and production deployment of solutions. • Support migration projects towards hybrid or cloud environments. • Collaborate closely with external partners. Administration and operation • Guarantee the proper functioning of Microsoft platforms and infrastructure services. • Ensure advanced administration of server and cloud environments. • Supervise the performance, availability, and security of systems. • Participate in the management of complex incidents and level 2 and 3 support activities. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of operation and monitoring processes. Documentation • Produce and maintain technical and operational documentation. • Formalize operating procedures and administration standards. • Ensure the application of best practices regarding operations, security, and IT service management. Profile sought ### Education • Engineering degree or higher education deemed equivalent in the IT field. Experience • 8-10 years of experience in Microsoft systems engineering and administration. • Proven experience in the design and implementation of Cloud architectures. • Solid practice of Microsoft Azure environment administration. • Experience with virtualized infrastructures and hybrid environments. • Experience in advanced technical support (level 2 and 3). Required technical skills • Cloud / Hybrid environments: Advanced mastery of MS Azure and the M365 suite. • Automation and infrastructure: Mastery of PowerShell and IaC / IaaS solutions. • Microsoft Systems: Excellent knowledge of Windows Server, Windows 11 (industrialized deployment), Active Directory, GPO, and ADFS. • Administration tools: Mastery of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM/Intune) and the System Center suite (SCOM). • IT Ecosystem: Good knowledge of MS Exchange Server (2019+), Microsoft SQL, Server, SharePoint, PKI architectures, network protocols (TCP/IP), monitoring tools, and backup solutions. Languages • Fluent French, both spoken and written.
