Service Staff SUMMER SEASON

Hotel Engstlenalp is a family-run mountain hotel. We have pension guests, many hikers and day guests. The often returning guests appreciate and expect good food, cleanliness and friendly employees. The workload depends on the weather, as most guests visit and stay with us in good weather. The hotel is in the middle of the mountains at 1840 m.a.s.l. and the driving distance from Meiringen is approx. 30-45 minutes. From now until 28.October 2026, we are looking for a service staff member to strengthen our team Your tasks: • To friendly receive, serve and cashier guests • Setting the tables for groups, day guests and the evening service • Serving food and drinks as well as recommending special dishes/specialties • Assistance with the breakfast service • Clearing away and washing dirty dishes • Wiping tables • Basic cleaning of restaurant, hall and terrace (floors etc.) • Compliance with and implementation of our hygiene concept Our requirements for you: • Experience in service • Independent, organized and efficient way of working • Well-groomed appearance, quality-conscious, flexible and team-oriented • Motivated, resilient and helpful • Friendly to guests, employees and supervisors • You maintain calm and work conscientiously even in hectic situations • Good German skills • Owning a car is an advantage What we offer you • Work in a family business • An interesting and versatile area of responsibility • Accommodation directly at the hotel, as the driving distance from Meiringen is 30-45 minutes • Staff meals • Tip participation • An industry-standard wage
