YOUR TASKS ## • As Head of Facility Management, you will lead the department in terms of personnel, technical, organizational, and economic aspects and continuously develop it together with your team. • You ensure the safe, reliable, and law-compliant operation of the technical systems and infrastructures and ensure structured operational management, seamless technical documentation, as well as compliance with relevant safety, quality, and operator obligations. • You plan and coordinate maintenance, upkeep, and repair work and thereby control external specialist planners, suppliers, and service partners. • You are responsible for your department's budget, keep an eye on costs and deadlines, and prepare decision-making bases for upcoming investments, while simultaneously advising the management team on the strategic development of the clinic area and participating in medium- and long-term investment planning. • Together with the medical, nursing, and operational specialist departments, you determine requirements and develop viable solutions for conversions, repurposing, and operational optimizations. • You lead smaller construction and infrastructure projects independently; for larger projects, you represent the operational interests of the clinic towards internal and external project partners. • The optimization of processes and digital working instruments is as much a part of your tasks as support in the daily operational business and participation in the technical on-call service. YOUR PROFILE ## • You have a basic technical education, ideally in building technology, electrical engineering, mechanics, or a comparable field, supplemented by advanced training in Facility Management, building technology, project or process management, or a comparable qualification. • You bring several years of professional and leadership experience in technical Facility Management or in the operation of complex building infrastructures. Experience in the healthcare sector or in a comparable 24-hour operation is an advantage. • Sound knowledge in the maintenance of technical systems as well as experience in managing construction, conversion, or infrastructure projects complete your professional profile. • Your way of working is structured, proactive, and solution-oriented. Even during malfunctions or parallel projects, you maintain an overview and combine entrepreneurial thinking with a strong awareness of quality, safety, and costs. • As a leader, you communicate clearly and bindingly, act with assertiveness, and maintain an appreciative and cooperative leadership style. A strong understanding of customers and services as well as enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation characterize you. • You are familiar with digital FM and CAFM systems; knowledge of WaveWare is an advantage. • You have very good German or French language skills and can communicate in the respective other language in everyday professional life. • You are willing to participate in the technical on-call service.
