The Institut Menzingen employs around 140 staff members and conducts the operational business of the Sisters of the Holy Cross on their behalf. This includes the St. Franziskus nursing home with 87 nursing beds and a holistic health offering, the care of the sisters' residential communities in Switzerland, and the maintenance of the monastery courtyard with the church wing, a newly emerging bistro, as well as residential and commercial space. The Sisters of the Holy Cross was founded in 1844 in Menzingen and is today represented on several continents of the world. The Swiss province currently includes around 130 sisters; most live in Menzingen. For the St. Franziskus nursing home, we are looking for you as Cook 60-80% Your tasks: • Supporting the kitchen management in the organization of kitchen operations • Daily meal preparation while adhering to dietary or medically prescribed food forms • Plating and loading the meal distribution systems • Meal transport to other houses in Menzingen • Checking of deliveries and inventory management • Support and accompaniment during the implementation of smaller and larger events • Co-responsible for compliance with regulations regarding hygiene, quality and occupational safety Your profile: • Completed training as Koch/Köchin EFZ and passion for the profession • Motivated, reliable and team-oriented personality with good German skills • Understanding for the needs of the care-dependent and elderly residents • Resilience, quick comprehension and flexibility • Careful, exact and efficient way of working • Driver's license We offer: • Versatile and varied activity, modern infrastructure • Working hours between 6:00 and 19:00 without mid-day break • Perspectives to develop further and contemporary employment conditions with weekend allowances, premium for short-term substitution, participation in public transport tickets, free parking spaces, Reka discount Are you interested?
