MOTOREX develops and produces high-quality lubricants for the smooth operation of high-performance machines and vehicles. The Swiss company headquartered in Langenthal, Switzerland employs around 400 employees, operates its own research and development center in Switzerland and further production plants in Europe. To strengthen our Supply Chain Management, we are looking for an experienced leader for our headquarters in Langenthal as Field of action • Leadership and further development of the department with around 50 employees in the areas of goods receipt, order picking, production supply, and distribution • Together with your team, you are responsible for the sustainable warehouse management of the internal and external warehouses in Switzerland and abroad • You ensure material availability in close cooperation with internal and external partners and thus ensure the optimal availability of products • As Head of Logistics, you realize optimization and savings potential along the warehouse and distribution processes and thus take logistics to the next level • Management of logistics projects and participation in cross-departmental projects • Targeted and professional use of SAP applications including further development (automation/master data mgmt.) • Responsibility for the entire warehouse management including warehouse management system (SAP WM) and inventory Requirements • You have a basic logistical or commercial training with further training in Supply Chain Management (dipl. Logistikleiter / dipl. Supply Chain Manager) or similar • Additional training in business administration (FH/HF) is an advantage • Proven logistics professional with several years of professional experience and a track record in a comparable function • Demonstrable good leadership experience • Experience in warehouse and distribution logistics as well as in IT and transformation processes • Proficiency in MS Office applications, as well as broad experience in the use of SAP (WM, SD, and MM) • Business-fluent communication in spoken and written German as well as good English skills (French skills are an advantage) • Good communicator and inspiring motivator, quick comprehension, strong analytical thinking skills, good assertiveness, high solution orientation, pragmatic, also enjoys being "at the front" (employees/suppliers/customers), and an exemplary leadership style round off your profile Advantages of the position • A responsible and varied task with a lot of creative freedom • Flat hierarchies with short decision-making paths • A collegial as well as international team that gives full throttle every day and does not lose its sense of humor even in stressful times.
