Our client is a family-run company operating throughout Europe in the field of sophisticated mechanical manufacturing, based in the Toggenburg region (Wattwil/SG). To strengthen the team, we are looking for a reliable and solution-oriented personality, per immediately or by agreement, who ensures the operational readiness of the production facilities. Operations Mechanic (m/f) 80 - 100 % # Employment: 80-100% Location: Wattwil Industry: Industry various Publication date: 15.06.2026 Your tasks: • Monitoring and ensuring the operational readiness of all production machines, systems, and facilities (incl. buildings, heating, ventilation, electrical energy, water supply, etc.) • Planning, initiating, and monitoring maintenance, repairs, and servicing (machines, systems, coolant systems, compressed air, cleanroom, etc.) • Carrying out operational maintenance and repairs on machines and technical systems • Organization of repairs as well as coordination of external service personnel • Procurement of spare parts, operating materials, and aids • Deputy for the Facility Manager Your profile: • Completed technical vocational training (e.g., agricultural machinery, car, or motorcycle mechanic or similar) • Professional experience in the operational maintenance of production facilities • Good knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electricals, and PLC • Solution-oriented and independent way of working • Flexibility as well as a short commuting distance are an advantage • Good German language skills What you may expect: • A varied activity in an established family company • Direct contact, respectful interaction, and mutual trust • Support regarding career prospects and further training • Fair salary and 100 % continued payment of wages in case of illness and accident • Team events, good public transport connections, and free parking • Part-time possible (80 - 100 %) Have we piqued your interest?
