Job Description
OUR MARKET AMBITION: AI IT MODERNIZATION
Artificial Intelligence is redefining the paradigms of software development and information systems management. At Talan Suisse, our ambition is clear: AI catalyzes IT modernization; Talan industrializes it, secures it, and guarantees its quality.
We believe that the modernization of the Information System (IS) is the absolute prerequisite for it to become a true driver of business innovation. Our approach is based on rigorous engineering principles:
• Security & Pragmatism (Data Classification): we adapt the execution infrastructure to the required confidentiality level, from secure public cloud (Levels 1 & 2) to Swiss sovereign cloud (Level 3), up to On-Premise / Air-Gapped execution (Level 4) for critical industrial secrets.
• Engineering & Determinism (SDLC Industrialization): we use Spec-Driven Development (specification-driven development) and proprietary agentic accelerators to guarantee deterministic, documented and tested code (target of 80% test coverage).
• The right tool for the right data: we refuse dogmatic discourse and select the technological solution perfectly adapted to each client's context.
YOUR MISSIONS: AT THE HEART OF THE AGENTIC REVOLUTION
To support our growth and industrialize our offerings, we are looking for an intern passionate about applied AI to join our team in Geneva or Lausanne. Under the responsibility of our Business Line directors and our AI architecture experts, you will contribute to the structuring of agentic methods and assets to tool our internal processes and increase our client offerings.
Your missions will revolve around four strategic axes:
1. Structuring agentic assets for our client offerings Development and industrialization of our AI-accelerated transformation solutions:
• Augmentation of our legacy refactoring offerings: contribute to the modernization of the application core (e.g. Java, .NET version upgrades, refactoring of opaque legacy code) by exploiting Spec-Driven Development and autonomous agent frameworks.
• Migration of data platforms (Data & BI): participate in the automation of the migration of data pipelines, decision reports and complex SQL schemas to modern platforms (Databricks, Snowflake), notably by exploiting and enriching our proprietary accelerator Talan Reportimus.
2. Tooling our pre-sales process Design of intelligent tools for the performance and reactivity of our commercial and pre-sales teams:
• Develop agentic assistants for rapid and automated analysis of client specifications (RFP/RFI) and detection of key requirements.
• Create tools to assist in writing commercial proposals (generation of qualitative content, structuring of tailor-made offers, highlighting our references and expertise).
3. Augmentation of our internal professions Experimentation of innovative solutions to transform the daily lives of our employees:
• Deploy and test agentic workflows (such as our internal framework TA³SK) to tool our consultants and engineers on a daily basis (reports, project plans, technical documentation).
• Measure the impact of these tools on velocity, deliverable quality and the work-life balance of our teams.
4. Technological watch and diffusion of AI culture
• Set up an active watch on the state of the art in AI, Context Engineering and agent protocols (e.g. Model Context Protocol - MCP).
• Lead awareness and training workshops to familiarize our local teams with the use of these tools and accelerators.
Qualifications
Education:
• You are in your final year (5th year / Master's) of an engineering school or university with an AI / computer science orientation (type EPFL, EPFZ, Swiss high schools or equivalent) and you are looking for a formal end-of-studies internship (PFE).
Preferred technical skills:
• Solid foundations in software development (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, etc.).
• Strong curiosity for AI, LLMs, RAG architectures and agent frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, MCP, etc.).
• Sensitivity to issues of security, data confidentiality and sovereignty.
Personal qualities:
• Autonomy & proactivity: ability to propose innovative solutions and conduct experiments.
• Rigor & analytical spirit: capa
