Your tasks • You lead and further develop a department with around 20 employees professionally, organizationally, and personally. • You are responsible for the strategic planning and control of development projects in the area of interlockings and RBC with a focus on platform architectures, modern development environments, automation, and scalability. • You ensure the successful implementation of complex projects with regard to quality, costs, and deadlines. • You actively further develop the technological roadmap and set impulses for innovative and future-oriented solutions. • You promote the continuous further development of development processes and drive efficiency increases as well as standardizations. • You work closely with development, product management, and other specialist departments to utilize synergies and integrate new market requirements into product development at an early stage. • You ensure compliance with the high requirements of a safety-critical development environment. Your profile • Completed technical university degree (Master) in electronics, software engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field of study. • Business administration training or sound understanding of business administration contexts. • Several years of leadership experience in leading development or project teams, ideally in the environment of complex technical systems or safety-critical applications and at department head level. • Experience in the development of platforms, system architectures, or integrated technical solutions. • Strong understanding of modern development processes, automation, and scalable software and system landscapes. • Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form.
